Dallas, Texas (August 3, 2026): Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio, Inc. (MIW), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing female leadership in radio broadcasting, is proud to announce Cosette Nowik as the recipient of its 2026 Elevating Women in Programming Mentorship. Now in its eighth year, the highly regarded program is designed to cultivate the next generation of women programming leaders through mentorship, education, and industry connections.
The MIW Elevating Women in Programming Mentorship is a year-long professional development experience that provides one emerging programming leader with direct access to some of the industry's most accomplished programming executives through one-on-one mentorship, networking opportunities, and career development. As part of the program, the mentee will also attend the 2027 NAB Show in Las Vegas, the premier event for the broadcast and media industry.
Cosette Nowik is the Program Director and PM Drive Talent for 96.9 The Fox (WWWX-FM) in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, where she develops engaging, listener-focused programming while sharing her passion for the alternative music format. After beginning her radio career in Chicago, she has continued to grow as a programming leader in Wisconsin's Fox Valley.
MIW Board Member and former Elevating Women in Programming mentee Leslie Scott said, "This mentorship has the power to shape careers in ways that extend far beyond programming. It opens doors, builds lasting relationships, and provides access to some of the best leaders in our industry. I'm excited for Cosette to experience everything this program has to offer and look forward to watching her continue to grow as a programming leader."

The program also proudly recognizes the legacy of Grisel Barajas, an exceptional rising programming leader whose career was tragically cut short in 2020.
