Dallas, Texas, January 13, 2026 Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio, Inc. (MIW), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to advancing female leadership in audio, proudly announces the addition of four new members to its Board of Directors, along with the appointment of current Board Member Randi P’Pool to the Executive Board as Secretary. MIW is composed of senior-level female audio professionals who leverage their expertise, influence, and leadership to help women across the industry develop stronger management and leadership skills.
Allyson Hillman is celebrating 40 years in the broadcast industry and is currently the Market President for Townsquare Media in Rockford, IL. Prior to joining Townsquare, Allyson has held leadership positions over the last 20+ years with Clear Channel Communications (now iHeart Media), Alpha Media, Beasley Media and NRG Media. Allyson is a 2019
graduate of the NAB Broadcast Leadership Training program and in 2023 Allyson was recognized as one of Radio Ink's Best Managers in Radio. For the past two years Allyson has been a mentor for the Erica Farber Mentorship In Management program and has been a long time advocate for women in the industry.
Kieran Geffert is Senior Vice President and Market Manager for Audacy San Francisco, leading one of the nation’s most influential audio portfolios, including KCBS, LIVE 105, Alice 97.3, 102 JAMS, and 95.7 The Game. With nearly three decades of experience, she is known for accelerating revenue growth, elevating operational performance, and building high-accountability teams grounded in collaboration and purpose. Kieran began her career at CBS Radio, where she spent more than 25 years in senior sales and leadership roles before stepping into expanded leadership following Entercom’s acquisition of CBS Radio in 2017. Since Audacy’s rebrand in 2021, she has played a critical role in shaping integrated revenue strategy, driving cross-market innovation, and strengthening culture across the San Francisco cluster and beyond. Kieran is deeply committed to advancing the next generation of leaders and champions inclusive, performance-driven environments where people are empowered to lead with confidence, clarity, and impact.
Lauren “Lo” Sessions-Barker is an award-winning radio professional, content leader, and on-air personality with more than a decade of experience across major and mid-market stations, including WFLZ/Tampa, WVAQ/Morgantown, KBFF/Portland, and KTFM/San Antonio. She currently serves as Assistant Program Director, Music Director, and Afternoon Drive Host at 93Q Country (KKBQ) in Houston, where she helps shape station strategy, lead content initiatives, and connect with one of the nation’s most competitive country audiences. Recognized as one of Radio Ink’s 30 & Under Superstars (2021), a graduate of the MIW Mildred Carter Mentoring Program (2022), CRS & Country Aircheck Large Market Personality of the Year (2024), and a 2025 ACM and CMA Major Market Personality of the Year nominee, Lo is also a passionate advocate for mentorship and leadership development within the industry.
Linnae Young is the Chief Revenue Officer of Salem Media Group, where she has spent 30 years in roles including Regional Sales Manager, GM of Salem National, Regional Vice President, Senior Vice President, and now CRO. A former NBC Television and Ogilvy & Mather Chicago executive, she helped build Ogilvy’s national radio buying arm before moving fully into radio, where she has become a respected industry leader. Linnae serves on the RAB Board, is a featured speaker for Rising Through the Ranks, and has been recognized by Radio Ink as one of the Most Influential Women in Radio. She is passionate about the industry's evolution into a multimedia marketplace and is deeply committed to mentoring and developing the next generation of broadcast leaders.
