Dallas, Texas (July 9, 2025): Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio, Inc. (MIW), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement of female leadership in radio broadcasting, is proud to announce Hannah Brummer (a.k.a. Hannah B) as the recipient of the 2025 Elevating Women in Programming Mentorship program. Celebrating its seventh year, this mentorship opportunity is designed specifically for women in programming.
The MIW Elevating Women in Programming Mentorship program is a year-long experience that exposes the mentee to the best programming minds in the business through personalized conversations, connections, and opportunities aimed at advancing their career within the radio industry. In addition, the program affords the mentee the chance to attend the 2026 NAB Show in Las Vegas, the premier event for the audio community.
Hannah B is the midday host on Chicagoland’s Free Country (98.3 & 102.3) with Alpha Media. She also hosts nights on Star 105.5 and Star 96.7 and is grateful to be part of the team as an Assistant Content Director for both Star stations, supporting programming and day-to-day content efforts. Outside of work, Hannah enjoys staying active with CrossFit and finding ways to give back to her community. She cherishes time with her family and friends and has a soft spot for anything pink.
MIW Board Member and past MIW Programming Mentee Leslie Scott said, “With women only representing 12% of Program Directors, MIW knows the importance of raising the next generation of women leaders in the programming space.
