Mentoring & Inspiring Women in Radio, Inc. and MRC Data Announce 4th Annual Mentorship Program

‘Elevating Women in Audio: MIW & BDSradio Mentorship’ is Designed Specifically for Women in Music Programming 

Dallas, Texas (July (7) 2021):   Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio, Inc. (MIW), a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to the advancement of female leadership in radio broadcasting, and MRC Data (formerly Nielsen Music), the most comprehensive global provider of data and analytics to the music industry, announced today ‘Elevating Women in Audio: MIW & BDSradio Mentorship’. BDSradio is one of MRC Data’s most widely used tools showcasing airplay, sales, and streaming side-by-side. This collaborative effort with BDSradio represents MIW’s fourth annual mentorship opportunity designed specifically for women in music programming.

The ‘Elevating Women in Audio: MIW & BDSradio Mentorship’ program is a year-long experience that provides greater opportunities for women interested in management positions in audio, and involves personalized conversations with the best programming minds in the business to help advance a career within the radio/audio industry. In addition, the program will give the mentee the chance to attend Radio Show 2021 this October in Las Vegas, the premier event for the audio community.

The mentorship is available to one female brand manager, content/program director, assistant program director, and/or music director from any U.S. based music format.

 The ‘Elevating Women in Audio: MIW & BDSradio Mentorship’ program supplements the ongoing MIW Group Mildred Carter Mentoring Program, which offers women in all divisions of radio advice for broadcasting management, education, and coveted access to leaders in radio broadcasting at the very highest level.
