Dallas, Texas January 18, 2023 Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio, Inc. (MIW), a designated 501(c)(3), has elevated Randi P’Pool to its Board of Directors. Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio, Inc. consists of top-level female radio professionals who use their experience, influence and resources to help other women in radio develop management and leadership skills. Randi previously served three years as a volunteer on the MIW PR committee; she replaces longtime Board member and former National Spokeswoman, Denyse Mesnik who rises to the MIW Advisory Council.
In 2020, P’Pool founded P’Pool Media, a Media Marketing and Public Relations Company. With over 23 years of experience in the broadcast industry, she began her radio career on a morning show in Yakima, Washington before moving to Salt Lake City where she worked as a Promotions Director and on-air personality for nearly 10 years. She was then recruited to Portland, Oregon to serve as Director of Marketing for Alpha Media. Within a few years, P’Pool was promoted to Corporate VP, Marketing for the company. In 2019, she moved to Aptivada (now known as Audience) as the Chief Marketing Officer. Named several times as one of the “Most Influential Women in Radio” by Radio Ink, P'Pool has been asked to speak at numerous conferences, moderate panels and serve on boards of charitable organizations.
MIW Board President Ruth Presslaff said, “We are so lucky to have someone of Randi’s caliber join our Board. Randi has worked diligently on the PR Committee and has earned this Board seat. Knowing Randi, I suspect we’ll get a lot done and have a whole lot of fun doing it! That said, I will miss working side by side with my dear friend and now Advisory Council member Denyse Mesnik.
