Danielle Outlaw

Danielle Outlaw is the Vice President of Sales at Neuhoff Communications with responsibility for sales generation, strategic planning, staff training and development and business relations for twelve commercial radio stations in Central Illinois and television stations in Twin Falls, Idaho.

Danielle has nine years of experience in the radio industry after beginning her career with Clear Channel Radio in 2003 as an Account Executive. Within two years she developed and cultivated the position of Non Traditional Revenue Director of Springfield, IL, being the first within this cluster to hold the position.  In 2005, Danielle was promoted to General Sales Manager overseeing the sales department for a cluster of 4 stations.  In 2008, Neuhoff Communications purchased that cluster of stations and in 2009 promoted Danielle to her current position of VP of Sales.

Danielle has been recognized as “One to Watch” among the Most Influential African Americans in Radio by Radio Ink Magazine in 2010 and has served as a panelist and presented topics in a number of industry meetings including the Radio Show and International Broadcaster’s Idea Bank.  Additionally, she has been honored with an award of volunteerism from the Family Service Center of Sangamon County and was selected in 2009 by the Business Journal to be listed as one of the "Forty Under 40" of central Illinois business leaders.

Prior to working in the radio industry, Danielle previously held the position of Divisional Sales Manager for May Company’s Famous Barr.  Drawing her business philosophies from her background in Retail Sales and Customer Service, she approaches sales and sale management with an “at your service” attitude.

Danielle received her B.A. in Sociology from Eastern Illinois University and has also achieved certification through the Radio Advertising Bureau as a Certified Radio Marketing Consultant, Certified Digital Marketing Consultant and Certified Radio Sales Manager.  Also a graduate of the Radio Adverting Bureau, BMI and MIW groups’ “Rising Through the Ranks” management program after receiving 1 of 25 national scholarships.

Calling Rochester, IL home, Danielle balances work with family calling wife and mother her most important responsibilities.
