Bev Brannigan

Beverlee’s career began at WOKQ, Dover, New Hampshire followed by 20 years programming and on-air at Des Moines’ first FM country station, KJJY.  In 2001 she joined Journal Broadcast Group and served as Operations Manager in Wichita, Kansas for the next decade.  

In 2012 Journal Broadcast Group named her VP of Radio Programming  and Beverlee was Operations Manager for Journal’s Milwaukee stations 620 WTMJ and 94.5 The Lake. Beverlee returned to the Wichita cluster as General Manager in 2014 and continued in that role under EW Scripps and SummitMedia ownership, later transitioning to the SVP/Programming role on SummitMedia’s corporate team. She recently launched an independent consulting company focusing on talent growth and development.

In recognition of career accomplishments, Beverlee was inducted into the Country Radio Hall of Fame in 2012. She is proud to have coached three winning Country Music Association Broadcast Personalities of the Year, as well as having programmed KFDI to a Station of the Year win for 2003.  

Beverlee and husband, Scott, live in Wichita with their cat, Zac.
