Valerie Geller

Valerie Geller, president of Geller Media International, a broadcast consulting firm, trains broadcasters throughout the world with Creating Powerful Radio seminars, workshops and one-on-one coaching for news, talk, information and personality programming for radio and television. She's worked top stations and personalities throughout the world at more than 500 stations in 27 countries.

Geller Media International works with programmers, talent, news and producers training broadcasters throughout the world to get, keep and develop audiences through personality and powerful radio content.

Recent clients include The BBC, CBS Radio, Delmarva Broadcasting, Three Eagles Communications, Miller Group Media, and stations owned by Clear Channel, Univision,and NPR and more.  Geller is the author of three books about radio including  Creating Powerful Radio: Getting, Keeping and Growing Audiences (Focal Press) ( ) and The Powerful Radio Workbook: The Prep, Performance & Post Production Planning, have helped broadcasters worldwide, move to the next level. Geller's first book: Creating Powerful Radio: A Communicator's Handbook, is considered a standard training manual for radio hosts, news presenters and reporters and personalities in all formats.

A much in demand seminar leader and speaker, Geller, works domestically with dozens of top rated hosts and stations and consults both commercial and public radio around the globe.

Geller is a former program director of WABC in New York, executive producer of KFI in Los Angeles and news director of K-101 in San Francisco, and worked as a talk host at KOA in Denver and several other stations, and served as an elected board member of the Associated Press and the Radio & TV News Directors Assn.
