| Rosemary Scott is Vice President of Research and Communications for Border Media Partners, the country's largest privately-held Hispanic radio company, with 29 Spanish and English stations. She is a Certified Radio Marketing Expert and Certified Digital Marketing Consultant with over 20 years of experience in Research, Marketing, and Public Relations. Ms. Scott is widely recognized as an industry leader and has served on the Radio Advertising Bureau's Sales Advisory Council from 1998 to 2005; she was named Chair of the Steering Committee for the NAB Radio Show 2003; she served on the RAB Conference Planning Committee from 2006 through 2008; and served on the Radio Ink Hispanic Conference Advisory Committee in 2007 and 2008. Her previous employers include Univision Radio where she was South Texas Regional Director of Research and Marketing; Hispanic Broadcasting Corporation where she was Director of Research and Marketing; Tichenor Media System where she served as Director of External Public Relations; Waterman Broadcasting where she was Director of Hispanic Marketing; and TK Communications where she held the position of Director of Research and Development.
Ms. Scott has been a featured speaker at various local, state, and national conferences and conventions across the country, and she is also well-known as a media-marketing journalist whose articles have been published in many prominent magazines and newspapers including Billboard, Ad Week, the M-Street Journal, Direct Marketing, Hispanic, Hispanic Business, Cable Television Marketing, The San Antonio Express News, various Business Journals, the Miami Herald, and many others. She has been affiliated as a freelance journalist with the Texas Governor's Music Office for ten consecutive years, and has been a columnist for Radio Ink since the mid 1990's, with special emphasis on Hispanic Marketing.
Ms. Scott is the recipient of industry awards including the "Most Valuable Research Director Award," from Hispanic Broadcasting Corporation in 2001; Research Director of the Year Finalist for Univision Radio in 2004, and All Star Award from the San Antonio Media Alliance in 2007. In 2007 she also became the first women to receive Radio Ink's prestigious "Medallas de Cortez" Award and was named Marketer of the Year.
Ms. Scott graduated from Trinity University in 1984. She is married with four children and resides in Schertz, Texas. Her hobbies include gardening, reading classical literature, and being a football Mom.
