Angelica Balderas


Angelica Balderas (Angie) started in the radio business at the age of 16 years old by accident! After six months at the radio station fate would have it that she would have to run the traffic and business office for the radio stations. Upon finishing community college she entered the world of radio sales. Angie has held senior sales positions in three major Hispanic Radio companies.

In 1999 she along with two other business partners Juan Gonzalez and Amparo Perez Cook started KTTA FM Kebuena 97.9FM. By 2004 a second station was purchased in Modesto KBBU FM. In January 2005 KTTA and KBBU were sold to Bustos Media for $21,600,000 dollars.

Upon the Bustos Media merger Angie assumed the position of Vice President of National Sales were she doubled the national revenues in one year. In September 2007 Angie assumed a new challenge ahead to integrate Television, Radio and Online for Bustos Media’s Flagship market in Northern California.

Angie resides in Lincoln California with her husband Mario and their three teenage children Angela 20, Mario 18, and Omar 16.

Angie is committed to the next generation of Hispanics to succeed. She currently sits on the National Latina Business Women Association Board, Us Bank Community Board, and is active fundraiser for Hermanos a mentoring program for at risk Latino youth.

In her spare time, she loves spa treatments, wine tasting, and take vacation cruises with her family.
