Kristine G. Foate is the President and CEO of Summit City Radio Group which includes six radio stations in Fort Wayne, Indiana, WCKZ-FM, WGL-AM, WNHT-FM, WXTW-FM, WXKE-FM AND WYLT-FM. Prior to joining Summit City Radio Group, Kris was the Vice President and General Manager of Illini Radio Group in Champaign, Illinois from 2001 to 2004.

From 1991 until 2001 she served in various leadership capacities at Journal Broadcast Group including General Sales Manager, Station Manager and Vice President and General Manager of WKTI-FM in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and subsequently as Vice President and General Manager of KTNV-TV in Las Vegas, Nevada. While at the Journal Broadcast Group Kris championed flextime, job sharing and part time programs for women who wanted to continue their career while raising their children. Those programs were the model for similar programs in the market and across the company. Kris worked her way up through the ranks at Shamrock's WQFM-FM in Milwaukee and finished her tenure there as General Manager. She began her career in Madison, Wisconsin at WLVE in 1981, where she was an account executive.

During her leadership the stations she has led have attained national recognition including Country Music Association's Station of the Year, Billboard and Airplay Monitor Radio Station of the Year. Kris is the recipient of the Radio Ink magazine's 1999 Radio Wayne Award for General Manager of the Year. In 2002, the launch year of the Most Influential Women in Radio mentorship program, Kris was in the first group "mentees". She was named one of the "50 Most Influential Women in Radio" by Radio Ink Magazine in 2004 and 2005. As a "Most Influential Woman in Radio" she is paying in forward by mentoring other women in the broadcast industry. She was one of fourteen nominees for the 2006 ATHENA Award.

Kris takes her responsibility to the industry and the community seriously. She is active in United Way of Allen County, serving on the Women's Initiative steering committee, the marketing committee and the 2006 Campaign Cabinet. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Fort Wayne. She also serves on numerous boards including Invent Tomorrow, Artlink and the Indiana Broadcaster Association. She is a member of the Greater Fort Wayne Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Fort Wayne class of 2006 and Area Women in Radio and Television.

Ms. Foate holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of Illinois and a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin.
