1985 - 1990
A co-founder, owner and Chief Operating Officer of Federal
Communications Corporation, which acquired WHJY-FM and
WHJJ-AM in Providence, Rhode Island, in January 1984.
In 1986 the Company acquired WAKY-AM and WEAZ-FM in
Louisville, Kentucky. In 1990 Federal was sold to Merv
Griffin Broadcasting. During the period of ownership
profit grew more than 400%.
Responsible
for all aspects of General Management including financial
controls, forecasting, marketing, profitability, sales
training, recruitment and overall operating strategy.
As operating partner, created all marketing, sales strategy
and station promotion for owned stations. The Company
launched a number of profitable firsts: The Providence
Business Expo, The WHJY Rock and Roll Expo and The Business-Owner's
Strategy Seminar.

1980-1985
Director of Sales for KISS-108 FM and WXKS-AM in Boston,
1980-1984. Participated in an unprecedented and hugely
successful launch of (then) two entirely new radio formats:
Contemporary Hit Radio (CHR) and Big Band. Revenue shares
ranked #1 during entire tenure.
