Caroline Beasley is Vice President,
Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Secretary of
Beasley Broadcast Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: BBGI). In this
capacity, she is responsible for all corporate finance
activities, including financial analysis related to
the Company’s acquisitions, divestitures, and
swaps of radio stations, as well as the Company’s
credit and investment banking relationships. As the
senior executive responsible for finance, Ms. Beasley
has played an instrumental role in the Company’s
strategic planning and corporate development, including
the $106.2 million initial public offering of Beasley
Broadcast Group, Inc. stock in 2002 and the $113.5 million
acquisition of Centennial Broadcasting in 2001. With
41 radio stations in ten mid- to large-sized markets,
BBGI is currently the 17th largest radio broadcasting
company in America.
Ms. Beasley
first joined Beasley Broadcast Group as a staff accountant
in 1983 after earning her Bachelor of Science degree
in Business Administration from the University of North
Carolina in Chapel Hill. She was soon promoted to Business
Manager and later to Assistant Controller, then Corporate
Controller. In 1993, she was named Treasurer, and one
year later, ascended to her present role.
Ms.
Beasley is a member of the Broadcast and Cable Financial
Management Association and serves on the Board of Directors
and the Audit Committees of Bank of Florida, Naples
and Summit America Television, Inc. Ms. Beasley and
her husband, David Goldstein, have two children, Daniel
(9) and Ilana (6).
