Beth Davis has been Market Manager for
Infinity Broadcasting St. Louis since February 2003.
Davis arrived in St. Louis in 1997 as Director of Sales
for KYKY, a division of American Radio Systems. As Director
of Sales her achievements included designing and developing
a hiring and training program for new account executives
ultimately leading to improved teamwork and increased
sales. In 1998, Davis was promoted to Vice President
and General Manager of KEZK-FM and KYKY-FM. Under the
new ownership of Infinity Broadcasting, Davis was responsible
for the superior performance of both stations as both
KYKY and KEZK performed over budget in 1999 –
representing a 29% over 1998. In 2000, the success continued
as both stations enjoyed a 23% increase over 1999.
More recently,
in her first 60 days as Market Manager, Davis has hired
a General Manager and Program Director for KMOX. She
has also established a Leadership Team for effective,
friendly, thorough communication in all departments
throughout KMOX, KEZK and KYKY.
Prior to her arrival
in St. Louis, Davis started her broadcasting career
in Dallas in 1982 as an Account Executive for KTXQ and
in 1991was promoted to General Sales Manager of KOAI/KCDU.
Davis currently serves
on the Board of Directors for many organizations: Heat
Up St. Louis, Herbert Hoover Boys and Girls Club, AMC
Cancer Research Foundation, Girl Scout Council of Greater
St. Louis and the 9th District Business Association
- just to name a few.
Davis
graduated with honors from Texas Women’s University.
In her leisure time Davis enjoys bicycling, whitewater
rafting and boxing.
